We will be closed on Monday 28th May for the Public Holiday

A now well established Dundee restaurant, Bon Appétit provides traditional and modern French cuisine in a classic brasserie atmosphere in the city's Exchange Street. Adjacent to handy car parks in Gellatly Street, Commercial Street and Shore Terrace, Bon Appétit is open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. Our menus can be found on the site.

Thanks to all our customers as Bon Appetit celebrates SEVEN years in business.

And thanks to Helen Brown for a braw review in the Courier, Saturday 7th May!

Run by Audrey and John, Bon Appétit is delighted to prepare, cook and present an ever changing menu using the finest available fresh produce for that authentic French taste. As far as possible we source our products in Dundee, or as near as we can! Our superb meat comes from Grant's in Blackness Road, the oldest butcher in Dundee, established in 1875, fruit and vegetables from Turriffs in Dundee, cheese from our neighbours The Cheesery, coffee from Braithwaites, milk from Kerr's Dairy, fish and mussels are delivered daily from G&A Spink in Arbroath, duck, guinea fowl and corn-fed chicken from Ochil Foods in Auchterarder and our French fries from King Foods in Aberdeen. We are also supplied by RC Stiven and The Good Cookshop (Panmure Street), Dundee and our linen is laundered in Blackness Laundrette.

Bon Appétit prides itself in slow food, but fast service! All dishes are prepared on the premises so during your wait why not select a typical French apéritif from our list and enjoy a Kir (white wine and cassis) or a glass of champagne. We are pleased to welcome customers who are gluten free or have allergies as this does not inconvenience us as we prepare all our food.

Bon Appétit has a small but good cellar with house wine of good quality at a reasonable price at one end of the range as well as some big wines for that real celebration dinner at the top end of the range.

Liam Bruen who was "Highly Commended" at the Scottish Chefs awards 2008, along with James Harvey and Gillian Storrie, are the chefs, converting the best local products into delicious dishes that you will find on our menu page. Bon Appetit was a finalist in the Scottish Restaurant of the Year in 2011!
